1. wooden you know it

fall signals the arrival of many things and one of the best is autumnal entertaining - a homier, cozier kind of gathering, hygge to the nth degree. a perfect example of this came up while i was reading luxirare, an exceptionally beautiful blog of a foodie fashion designer. there’s a gorgeous series of still-life photos of a cheese and fig spread - where the cheese was shaved on a girolle. i never knew such a thing existed but it now seems like a very necessary item. plus its whole aesthetic reminds me of some of my other favorite pieces for fall…

    sarpaneva cast iron pot $295 / beechwood cheese curler $43.99 / ceramic containers $178 - $250

    faux bois placemats 4 for $52 / leather strap cutting boards $60 - $170 / shesham tools $5.95 - $12.95
