    here’s the thing… about friendship, something that strikes me every time i’m with a group of people. nowadays (as we celebrate marriages, moves and more) said groups are usually comprised of a mix of old friends, recent acquaintances and frequently (for those first moments) strangers. and because of that, i know this is true: you truly never know when a new friendship will start and - at the same time - you should always know that the old ones will never truly end.  [ed. note to answer questions: 1) that’s me on the far left wearing free people’s hippie hippie shake dress and the bride is the beauty in the middle sporting a coral BCBG maxi dress. 2) i shoot RAW on my sony A55 digital camera - a cheaper but otherwise just-as-fabulous version of the nikons and canons everyone has. after taking the file into photoshop and playing with the exposure/brightness/contrast, i used the elliptical marquee tool to essentially remedy an otherwise lopsided shot.]
