summer, montauk & nora ephron

“Oh, how I regret not having worn a bikini for the entire year I was twenty-six. If anyone young is reading this, go, right this minute, put on a bikini, and don’t take it off until you’re thirty-four.” 

while there are many thoughts authored by ephron that i’d like to tattoo on my forearm for memory’s sake, this one is tops. 

after this weekend’s trip out to montauk (for a good friend’s bachelorette party), i was reminded that life is short and so is summer.

go put on a bikini.
