may flowers
my mother has always had a green thumb and, as a result, our childhood was spent tagging along beside her in one of her 2 gardens, or in the greenhouse, or in the kitchen where she’d cut and arrange stems in a myriad of vases.
elizabeth inherited that green thumb, working in flower shops her whole life and, eventually, choosing it as her career (or did it choose her?)
i may not possess their talents, but there is nothing better then watching them in tandem - cut, arrange, cut, create, cut, curate.
it’s pure magic.
