Hi, I really like the architecture and interiors you post and reblog. What are the best architecture blogs? I was wondering also if you ever feature your own work on your blog? I think about becoming an architect sometimes but people say it is hard.

the best? there’s a lot. + some of my favorite finds originate from blogs that aren’t architecture blogs per se. rule of thumb… follow that link! if i’ve reblogged something just keep clicking away to find someplace great! otherwise, there’s architizer, dezeen, archinect, arch daily, dwell etc. the blog roll side bar here is a good start.
as for my work? we work on a wide variety of projects + some might be relevant / interesting to share. but 1/2 of what we do is research / conceptual work which is in the process of being published. therefore, not really the best idea to throw it out there quite yet. the other 1/2? lots of private homes, apartments, businesses, etc. not truly mine to share. unless, of course, it’s already out there! exhibit A
is it hard? not any harder than any other job, i suppose. there are so many urban legends + stereotypes surrounding the profession, it’s not surprising people think of it as they do. i’m still (relatively) young in my career but here’s what i’ve picked up so far.
if it’s something you’re even slightly interested in, keep exploring!
